Francis inqury report on Stafford Hospital revealed today

THE findings from the public inquiry into major failings at Stafford Hospital will be revealed today.

The report will be laid before Parliament just after 11.30am and Prime Minister David Cameron will deliver a statement to the House of Commons following Prime Minister's Questions.

The inquiry, chaired by Robert Francis QC, exmained why regulators and senior NHS managers failed to pick up what was happening at the site.

Between November 2010 and December 2011 more than 160 witnesses gave evidence.
