SOON there is going to be the last General Election of note unless we can do something drastic because in five years’ time almost all our laws will come from Brussels.
The current group of MPs do not wish to discuss the EU. They are quite happy that due to stupidity of the Brussels fish quotas we can throw a billion pounds of perfectly good fish back into the sea.
Because of the EU our once great fishing industry is almost extinct.
Because of milk quotas our dairy farmers have sold up and we now have to import milk. Because of the differences in the price of diesel our haulage industry is unable to compete.
After all this we happily pay £6.5 billion a year as the price of membership.
I challenge the candidates who are standing at the election to discuss these matters.
