AN HGV and a car collided on the M6 on Monday destroying sections of the barrier and slowing traffic on the road for most of the day.
Fire and rescue crews from Stafford, Newcastle and Stone and paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service were called to the incident between junctions 14 and 15 just after midday.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We sent a rapid response vehicle and were on the scene within six minutes.
He said paramedics treated three people on the scene and that none of those involved had required additional treatment.
