A STONE man has appeared in court in connection with two robberies in the local area.
McKenzie Chadwick, 21, of Manor Rise, appeared at Cannock Magistrates' Court yesterday charged with robberies in Avon Grove and Walton Way.
He is also charged with two burglaries, one attempted burglary, two charges of possessing an offensive weapon and one offence of vehicle interference.
He was remanded in custody until November 2, when he will appear at Stafford Crown Court.
A 15-year-old boy from Stone, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested in connection with the robberies and has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
