TWO MEN have been arrested following a report of suspicious behaviour at badger setts near Stone.

Police were called to a wooded area on the outskirts of the town just before 6.30pm on Sunday.
A pick-up type vehicle was spotted nearby.
A Staffordshire Police spokeswoman said: “The occupants, a 46-year-old man from West Yorkshire and a 51-year-old from Derbyshire, were arrested and the vehicle was seized.
"The men have been arrested on suspicion of offences under the Protection of Badgers Act and released on bail, pending further enquiries.
“Anyone who suspects badger baiting or the disturbance of sets is asked to report it to Staffordshire Police on 101.”
