A NEW McDonald’s restaurant set to open at Stafford’s motorway services station will bring 40 jobs to the town.
Roadchef, who operate the site on the M6, are urging Stafford folk to apply for the full and part-time management and crew positions to support the new development.
As well as experiencing life in a busy food service business, successful applicants will receive training that could help them pursue a career in catering.
Andrea Cunliffe, site director at Roadchef’s Stafford site, said: “The investment in the catering facilities will undoubtedly bring more customers through the doors, so to meet the increase in demand we have decided to recruit around 40 new team members.”
She said successful staff would be put on an industry-leading training programme allowing them to develop skills in specific areas of catering and retail.
“Our team members are the face of Roadchef and it is important that each and every one of them receives the necessary skills to become the best in their line of business,” she said.
