Youth in court over bus stab murder
A teenager is to appear in court accused of the murder of a 14-year-old boy.
Kevin Ssali was stabbed as he got off a bus in Burnt Ash Road, Lee, south London, at about 9.45pm on Saturday and died in hospital from his wounds.
The accused, 17, from south-east London, will face Bromley Youth Court, Scotland Yard said.
A post-mortem examination took place at Greenwich Mortuary on Monday and the cause of death was given as a single stab wound to the heart.
The victim, of Whitworth Road, south Norwood, was thought to be travelling on a route 202 bus through Lee Green towards Charlton.
Both London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance service attended the scene.
Two 15-year-old boys have been bailed pending further inquiries to a date in October.
