Rail chiefs urge caution at level crossings

RAIL bosses are urging motorists to take more care at level crossings following the release of new accident figures.

According to Network Rail, there were 28 near-misses in Staffordshire last year.

A spokesman for the firm said: "Hundreds of pedestrians are also risking their lives trying to save a few seconds – it's just not worth it."
