DRIVERS are being warned about road closures in Stafford for the town's half marathon on March 17.
A number of roads will be shut around the town centre from 7.30am until 1.30pm, including South Walls, Tenterbanks from Mill Bank to the junction of Victoria Road the cycle route from The Haybarn to Doxey Road.
A number of other roads, including Broad Street to the junction of Broad Eye, Mount Street, Earl Street, Water Street and Church Lane, will be closed 8.30am-10am. Further road closures, 9.15am - 1pm, will include Baswich Lane between Weeping Cross and Porlock Avenue and Tilcon Avenue and Tixall Road, Marlborough Avenue, The Green at Milford, the northbound carriageway of Holdiford Road, westbound carriageway of Tixall Road, Portal Road at its junction with Beaconside and Berlein Road.
