A WOMAN has been rescued from her car by firefighters following a collision on a busy road near Stafford.
Fire crews from Stone and Stafford were called to the A34 between Yarlet and Stafford, close to Yarlet School, shortly after 3.20pm today.
The collision is reported to have involved a heavy goods vehicle and three other vehicles, a Fire Service spokeswoman said.
Firefighters freed one woman using hydraulic cutting equipment and she was taken by ambulance to University Hospital of North Staffordshire.
