STONE First Responders are appealing for people to take part in one of the toughest obstacle courses in the country.
The Wild Thing adventure race takes place on September 8 at Wild Park in Brailsford on the outskirts of the Peak District National Park. The course includes the swamp of doom, water slides, tightropes, tunnels, giant walls, cargo nets, mud, water and a killer assault course.
Rachel Pine, of 3B Barbers, one of the teams already signed up for the challenge, said: “A few of us decided to do the challenge to raise awareness for the First Responders, then a few customers wanted to join us and it has just grown from there.
