A GROUP of talented young performers from Stafford who stormed the Edinburgh Fringe Festival are bringing their smash-hit show back to town for one final curtain call.
The 17-strong cast of high-energy musical 13, who blew away the crowds at the iconic festival this summer, will put on one last performance of the show on Saturday, September 15, at Stafford Gatehouse Theatre, giving the people of the town the chance to see for themselves the show critics called “jaw-dropping”.
The show, written by Tony award-winning writer Jason Robert Brown, is based around the story of 12-year-old Evan Goldman, and the challenges he faces as his parents divorce and his Bar Mitzvah looms on the horizon.
To make matters worse, Evan’s mother announces they are leaving New York and moving to the sleepy town of Appleton, Indiana, where he is forced to make new friends and some very difficult choices.
Tickets for this final performance are available for £6 and can be purchase by calling the box office on 01785 254653 or visiting www.staffordgatehousetheatre.co.uk.
