STAFFORD Rangers are inviting residents to kick off their May bank holiday weekend with a celebration of real ale.
The club is hosting its annual real ale festival from Friday May 4 to Sunday, May 6.
Not only will visitors sample a range of ales, ciders and fruit wines but there will be live entertainment, a live screening of the FA Cup Final on HD TV on the Saturdayand the SRFC Players’ awards presentation. The club will also host the Sunday League Cup Final match, which kicks off at 7pm.
Stuart Maun from Stafford Rangers’ Commercial Department said: “We have a superb weekend planned filled with entertainment, sport and real ale - all followed by a bank holiday.
“It is assured to be a great weekend and we hope that everyone will come along and get involved.
“There will be a range of 18 real ales, seven ciders and a selection of fruit wines to choose from. We have also decided this year to host the Player Awards during Sunday afternoon.
“We hope that lots of fans and their families will attend this event and congratulate the lads on their successes this season”.
Entry to the festival, which starts at 5pm on May 4, is free. The club is also seeking sponsors for the event and anyone interested should contact Mr Maun on 07540 124396.
