STAFFORD College opened their doors to the Newsletter this week for a sneak peek at the newly-built multi-million pound Riverbank building.
New-look kitchens for hospitality and catering students, top of the range health and beauty studios, a spa, a cutting-edge three-storey library building, a bistro, a café and a restaurant all make up the sleek new building.
High-walled glass windows on one side offer commanding majestic views of Stafford, while the other side embraces the brickwork of the college’s old building to neatly combine the future of education at the college with the traditions and the history that led here.
A college spokesman said: “We are rolling out a red carpet to welcome the students in to the building for the first time on Monday morning.
“We considered calling in a rent-a-celebrity for the occasion, but in the end we decided the message we wanted to get across was that this was about the students.”
