STAFFORD MP Jeremy Lefroy applauded a government vision to invest in apprenticeships and congratulated employers and young people across Stafford for embracing it.
Mr Lefroy said Conservatives in Government were investing in apprenticeships to ensure the country had the skills it needed to compete in the world and people in the county town were already benefitting from it.
“I know from work that I have seen at a variety of local businesses that apprenticeships are a win for the individual and a win for the business,” he said.
Mr Lefroy said 830 people across the Stafford constituency started apprenticeships in the academic year 2011-12 and another 250 started in the first quarter of the current academic year.
