A STAFFORD town centre car park will be closed next week while it gets a makeover.
Broad Street car park, near the town’s Wilkinson’s branch, will be resurfaced and relined. There will also be changes to the car park entrance and replacement of the wooden railing alongside the footpath outside Trinity Church.
Work is due to start on Monday (February 27) and expected to last six days.
Signs have been put up at the site to warn motorists about the temporary closure, which is part of ongoing maintenance work to Stafford Borough Council car parks.
Temporary spaces have been created at the front of the nearby Sainsbury’s car park for Shopmobility users, who should contact Shopmobility for more details on the arrangements.
