A STAFFORD man has been arrested in connection with an assault at a pub on the outskirts of town where a 42-year-old man was attacked with a wooden chair.
The victim sustained head and facial injuries in the attack, which occurred in the front beer garden of the Seven Stars at Brocton off the A34 just before 7pm on Friday, December 21.
He was taken to Stafford Hospital for treatment but has since been discharged.
Police arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with the incident, who has been bailed to a later date pending further inquiries.
