A CYCLIST from Stafford was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision with a van on the A34 Yarlet Bank this morning.
Police closed the northbound carriageway of the road towards Stone to carry out investigations into the incident which saw a white Citroen van collide with the mans bike at around 6.30am.
A spokesman for the police said the man had been taken to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire and urged anyone who witnessed the accident to get in touch calling 101 and quoting incident number 80 of October 4.
