Stafford post office worker admits theft

A FORMER post office worker has admitted stealing £640 from Stafford Post Office.

Leanne Wheawall, 24, of Lancing Avenue, Stafford, pleaded guilty to theft at Cannock Magistrate’s Court on February 15.

The offence was committed between May 1 and November 20 2011.

Wheawall was given a 12 month community order with a supervision requirement and ordered to complete 80 hours’ unpaid work. She must also pay £85 court costs.
