Stafford post office worker admits theft

A FORMER post office worker has admitted stealing £640 from Stafford Post Office.

Generic online news 1Leanne Wheawall, 24, of Lancing Avenue, Stafford, pleaded guilty to theft at Cannock Magistrate’s Court on February 15.

The offence was committed between May 1 and November 20 2011.

Wheawall was given a 12 month community order with a supervision requirement and ordered to complete 80 hours’ unpaid work. She must also pay £85 court costs.
