A STAFFORD pub will this weekend launch a new musical event in the heart of the town centre calling in buskers from the cold.

The Rose and Crown will present a different performer every week to show off their talent busking for an hour in the comfort of the bar starting off this week with the music stylings of Daniel Marsden and Lewis Saunders from 3pm.
Landlord Sean Sheffield said: “I’ve always admired the spirit of buskers, playing live whatever the weather, but these past few weeks have been so cold I thought I would invite them in to the warmth of my bar.”
