A TERRIFIED teenager was attacked on a bus travelling between Stafford and Newcastle-under-Lyme.
The 17-year-old girl was waiting to catch the 3.30pm First 101 bus, from Gaol Square on Saturday when she was approached by a man.
He tried to start a conversation with her and when the bus arrived he followed her on board, sat behind her and continued to harass her. He assaulted her and got off the bus at the Poachers Cottage stop in Trentham.
The girl was left shaken but uninjured.
Police are urging witnesses to come forward as there were quite a number of women on the bus at the time.
The attacker is described as mixed race, aged in his mid 30s with short black hair and a receding hair line. He wore a black jacket and light blue jeans.
