Three hospitalised in M6 crash

A FOUR-CAR collision on the northbound M6 carriageway this morning saw three people hospitalised and brought traffic to a standstill.

West Midlands Ambulance Service were called to the incident just after Stafford Services just before 6.30am responding to reports that a car had crashed into the central reservation.

A spokesman for the ambulance service said: “Three passengers were conveyed from the accident by ambulance to University Hospitals of North Staffordshire.”

A spokesman for Staffordshire Police told the Newsletter officers from the Centre Motorway Police Group had attended the incident which he confirmed involved four vehicles.

He said the road was closed while the incident was investigated but reopened at around 9am.
