Training boost for rural businesses

Written byKerry Ashdown

RURAL residents who have made a new year’s resolution to boost their businesses can get a helping hand from a local training provider.

Growing Rural Enterprise is starting 2013 with a host of bite-sized business courses, each lasting three hours and focusing on a specific challenge such as social media, marketing or cashflow.

The first events are aimed at those thinking about starting a new business and will help them set goals and targets and learn how to link into networks.

They take place on Wednesday 2.30-5.30pm, January 19 9.30am-12.30pm and February 2.30-5.30pm.

All courses will be held at Growing Rural Enterprise’s Sudbury office and cost £35, including course notes, refreshments and VAT.
