TRIBUTES have been paid to Stafford haulage magnate Stan Robinson, a former director at Stafford Rangers FC, who died on Good Friday.
Mr Robinson, 70, who had been diagnosed with cancer only the day before he died, launched his transportation firm in 1970 and was still working a week before his death.
A director at Stafford Rangers for several years, Mr Robinson’s was remembered by fans and players alike during a one-minute silence before Saturday’s game with Nantwich Town.
