THREE people were hospitalised following a road traffic collision which left one car mangled in Seighford.
The smash on Clanford Road happened at approximately 9.35am on Wednesday and involved two vehicles.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said the female driver of the first car, believed to be in her 30s was immobilised and freed from her vehicle with the help of the fire service and treated for back and chest pain.
She said the woman was given pain relief before being driven to University Hospital of North Staffordshire for further assessment and treatment.
Two occupants from the second car were also treated at the scene.
“The first casualty, a man believed to be in his 40’s, was treated for neck and rib pain and a minor injury to his arm,” she said. “The second casualty, a woman believed to be in her late 20’s, was treated for a minor knee injury.”
Both occupants of the second car were driven to Stafford Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
