PANCAKE tossers had a flipping great time as they marked Shrove Tuesday with the annual race in Stafford.
pancakeTeams from several businesses entered the pancake race in Market Square this week, including the Mayor of Stafford Borough, Councillor Ann Edgeller.
And there were laughs and cheers aplenty as the relay teams raced around, while flipping pancakes at the same time.
The winning team was a team including staff from Greengate Deli and The Swan and the four members were presented with a frying pan trophy.
Team member Angie Durham, who works as an assistant at Greengate Deli, said: "We're really pleased to have won the top prize. We'd been trying to practice flipping pancakes this week to prepare."
