STAFFORDSHIRE Wildlife Trust is urging nature lovers to leave a legacy to help protect the countryside for future generations.
This week is Will for Wildlife Week and the Wolseley Bridge charity is encouraging people to think about leaving some money in their will to the trust.
Over the past five years the charity has received a number of gifts in wills, enabling it to buy important sites and carry out conservation and education projects across the county.
Kate Barker, membership and legacies manager for The Wildlife Trusts, said: “We believe many people would like to write, or update, their will to reflect their current situation but simply haven’t got round to it yet. A clearly written will, kept updated throughout your life, is essential to ensure that your wishes are respected.”
