A WOMAN had to be cut free from her car after a collision in Stone on Friday that overturned her car.
West Midlands Ambulance service were called to the scene at the junction of Longton Road and Nicholls Lane at 5.25pm.
The woman was freed from her car by members of the fire service and then taken to hospital to be treated for her injuries.
A spokesman from West Midlands Ambulance service: “It appears there was a collision involving two cars.
“The driver of the overturned car, a woman in her twenties, had shoulder and pelvic injuries and cuts and bruises.
“Her condition was stabilised at the scene, splints were applied and she was placed onto a spinal board before being taken by land ambulance to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire.”
