THE LADIES of Gnosall have united to reform a village branch of the Women’s Institute after the last meeting was held nearly three years ago.
The new group met in October at the Village Hall to talk about a programme of events, including charitable fund-raisers and social activities, and will meet again on Wednesday, December 12, at the same venue at 7.30pm to discuss plans to formalise the group and hold a small Christmas party.
A spokesman for the group said: “Anyone interested in joining or hearing more about the WI and what it has to offer is welcome to come along and join in the festive celebrations.
“The theme of the evening is Bring and Share, so please bring a bottle and some nibbles on a plate,” she said. “We also welcome homemade cakes and festive treats.”
