A SPECIAL fund-raiser will be held in honour of the founder of the Stafford Knot Rotary Club to pull in pounds for the Alzheimer’s Society.

The medieval evening on June 14 is in recognition of John Oldham, who has recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Mr Oldham was a solicitor in his own practice Oldham Rust Jobson and then at Pickering & Butters in Stafford, as well as being deputy district judge for 25 years for the County Court.

The medieval evening starts at 7.30pm at the County Showground tickets are £30 each.
