FOUR orphaned hedgehogs have found a new home at Sugnall Hall, near Eccleshall.
The one-year-old siblings have taken up residence in a custom-made hedgehog house, set in the hall’s two- acre walled gardens.
The hope is that the hedgehogs, which came from the British Wildlife Rescue Centre at Amerton Farm, will help keep down garden pests, like beetles, caterpillers, slugs and snails.
The hall’s gardens, which include tea rooms, are open to the public.
The latest news is that the new arrivals are settling in well.
