Last week we reported that police have moved out of Eccleshall's police station due to cut-backs.
Two police community support officers who patrolled the area have moved into higher-crime locations such as Stafford, leaving just one to cover it along with other areas.
Residents are concerned that this could lead to criminals targeting the area because police will be slower to respond.
PCSO Lutwyche told Eccleshall Parish Council: "Unfortunately, the decision has had to be made because of cutbacks. Officers have to be where the operational needs are most. At the moment that is the Stafford area.
"I don't know if it will be a permanent thing. We will just have to see how it goes."
