VIDEO: THIS would have been a familiar scene in Stafford back in the 50s. The river next to the Brine Baths with traffic crossing the bridge.

You can see the walkway named after Isaac Walton; the county hall, complete with gargoyles, St. Mary's Church and surrounding houses.

The scene was taken from a Pathe film of 1959 and is one of many that has been released on YouTube.
