PAUL Weller is the latest music star to confirm he will be on stage at Cannock Chase in June for the Forestry Commission gig.
The singer, who has performed at Cannock Chase before, will be on stage on June 28 as part of the Forest Live programme.
He will perform on the Saturday evening, joining Jessie J, who will be on stage on the Friday.
It has been 30 years since Paul Weller first exploded onto the music scene, suited and booted, and armed with statement tunes in The Jam.
Following on from two sold out Forest Live dates last summer he said: “It’s a favourite summer jaunt for me so I look forward to performing in a few of the forests that I haven’t played in a good while.”
Tickets are £46.20 and go on sale at 9am on Friday from the Forestry Commission box office on 03000 680400 or online at www.forestry.gov.uk/music
