A PENKRIDGE dancer showed she was on top form when she picked up a string of trophies at a major dance championship.
Katie Hardiman, of Broc Close, competed in the Welsh All Star Championships in Pwllheli, Wales.
The 10-year-old, who has trained with Class One Dance Academy in Penkridge since July, won her category in freestyle disco solo and disco pairs and was a finalist in rock and roll, contemporary slow and street dance.
The Penkridge Middle School pupil, who trains twice a week with dance teacher Gillian Booth Lyons, also picked up a 5foot trophy for winning the head-to-head all the other first place winners.
She said: "I was so shocked to have been awarded the first place in my category but totally excited and over the moon when I won the overall title."
