POLICE SURGERY: Inspector Geoff Knights, the South Staffs Local Policing Commander will be holding a police surgery at the Co-Operative food store in Market Street on Saturday March 1, from 11am to 2pm. Anyone is welcome to come along and discuss any issues they may have.
ST MICHAEL’S CHURCH: Friday night live takes place tomorrow from 7.15pm, an informal night of praise and fellowship, tea and coffee will be available. A special thanksgiving service and shared lunch is on Sunday to mark the end of the ‘Stewardship: Time and Talent Sundays’ that have been taking place during February, the food list is in the foyer. All age Messy Church is also on Sunday at 4pm. Fellowship lunch is on Wednesday in church from 12 noon to 2pm.
A Barn Dance has been arranged for Saturday March 8 to take place at The Peace Memorial Hall from 7.30pm. Caller is Vicky Baker and music by Log Cabin. Cost is £7.50 per person with children free. Patrons can bring their own drinks and nibbles.

ROUND TABLE: Members are attending the President’s Weekend in Bristol on Saturday, an event organised by the current president before his term of office finishes. Next Thursday is new members night when the newest recruits organise a mystery night out – a test of their ingenuity and originality. BABY MASSAGE: This popular baby massage course has now started again at the Children’s Centre in the grounds of Princefield First School, Saxon Road. Sessions are on Mondays 1.45pm to 2.45pm. LIBRARY: Staff are running ‘Hands-on Handmade’, a four week course to inspire creativity, build design confidence and crafting skills, including glass painting, decoupage and jewellery making, starting on Wednesday 9.30am to 12 noon. LITTLE SEEDLINGS GARDENING CLUB: The monthly club for children aged 4 – 10 years is at Dobbies Garden Centre, Gailey on Sunday starting at 11am.
