A MOTORBIKE thought to have been used in a robbery outside a Stafford bank is being forensically examined by police.
Two masked men are believed to have snatched a box from a security guard in Lichfield Road at 1.25pm yesterday.
The raiders, who were wearing dark clothing and distinctive dark motorcycle helmets with neon stripes, grabbed the box from a guard outside the Lichfield Road branch of Lloyds Bank, before escaping on a yellow and black Suzuki motorcycle, a Staffordshire Police spokeswoman said.
It is not believed anyone was hurt, she added.
A 15-year-old boy from Stafford arrested in connection with the incident has now been released without charge.
Any witnesses, or anyone with information, should contact Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident 313 of April 29.
