A MOTORBIKE thought to have been used in a robbery outside a Stafford bank is being forensically examined by police.

Two masked men are believed to have snatched a box from a security guard in Lichfield Road at 1.25pm yesterday.

The raiders, who were wearing dark clothing and distinctive dark motorcycle helmets with neon stripes, grabbed the box from a guard outside the Lichfield Road branch of Lloyds Bank, before escaping on a yellow and black Suzuki motorcycle, a Staffordshire Police spokeswoman said.

It is not believed anyone was hurt, she added.
