Police reveal second Stafford fire treated as 'deliberate' following Salvation Army blaze

POLICE are treating another fire just down the road from the devastating blaze at the Salvation Army building in Stafford as ‘deliberate’.

As reported, serious damage was caused to the Faraday Road Salvation Army base when bins were set alight next to the building in the early hours of this morning (August 29).

Another fire occurred at 1.47am after bins were set alight on the corner of Crooked Bridge Road and Gaol Road.

Officers at the scene told the Newsletter an investigation is underway to determine whether the two incidents are linked.
