GPs responsible for Stafford and Stone's healthcare will set out plans for future services at a public meeting in February.
The governing body of Stafford and Surrounds Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) will take place on Monday, February 4, at Greyfriars Therapy Centre between 2.30 and 5pm.
The CCG is made up of representatives of 14 local GP Practices from Stafford, Stone, Eccleshall, Gnosall, Penkridge, Great Haywood and Brewood.
Chaired by Penkridge GP Dr Margaret Jones, the group will assume responsibility from the Primary Care Trust in April for planning and purchasing healthcare services for the local population.
The meeting will contain updates on the CCG's work so far as well as an opportunity for members of the public to ask any questions of the board.
Members of the public are asked to confirm their intention to attend by emailing Katie.firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 01785 221043.
Papers for the meeting will be available from http://www.staffordpbc.nhs.uk/ccg-governing-body-meeting when they are finalised and hard copies can be obtained by contacting the number or email above.
