STAFFORD Rangers boss Andy Mutch has swooped to bring in three more players on loan from Skrill (Conference) Premier outfit Tamworth, as he tries to turn round the fortunes of the struggling Marston Road club.
The loan signings of three midfield players from their Staffordshire neighbours were confirmed by The Lamb based club on Thursday afternoon.
They are, 18-year-olds Kaiyne Woolery and Scott James, along with 20-year-old Louie Harris, who has previously had loan spells at Notts County and AFC Wimbledon,
And it is expected that all three will make their debuts in the home clash against Evo Stik Premier leaders Skelmersdale United on Saturday (3pm).
New boss Mutch has managed just two wins in eight league games since firstly taking over the Boro helm as caretaker boss in early September.
The club’s permanent manager since the beginning of the October, Mutch has seen the club suffer two 5-0 away defeats, at Worksop Town and Witton Albion, in the past couple of weeks.
Sandwiched in between those heavy losses was the Boro’s second only win of the campaign, a 2-1 home success over Stamford.
Rangers go into Saturday’s re-arranged fixture against Skelmersdale lying third bottom in the table and already nine points off safety with around a third of the season completed.
On Tuesday night, Rangers are due to visit seventh place Marine in a return league game, providing the Merseysiders are not involved in an FA Trophy replay.
