STAFFORD Rangers bounced back after two disappointing home displays with a fully deserved share of the spoils in a 1-1 draw at Evo Stik premier leaders North Ferriby United on Saturday.
It was the home side who opened the scoring in a relatively quiet first period. On 34 minutes, Anthony Wilson put Liam KIng through to find the net.
Karl Ashton responded for Rangers before the break but saw his header drift wide.
On the hour, Rangers boss Greg Clowes sent on winger Luke Bottomer, who re-joined the Boro ranks on Thursday, and Jon Sheldon and the visitors levelled.
Liam Walshe got on the end of a Sean KInsella corner, but was denied by home keeper Adam Nicklin, only for Christian Dacres to head in the rebound and earn a good point.
Next up for Rangers is the re-arranged league game away to second bottom Stocksbridge Park Steels on Saturday.
Rangers have also confirmed that their Walsall Senior Cup quarter final tie at home to Rushall Olynpic will now take place at Marston Road on Thursday, March 7 (7.45pm).
