EVER fancied making a fuss over a marmoset or taking care of a tortoise?

South Staffordshire College is looking for volunteers to work at its Animal Zone on Rodbaston Campus, near Penkridge, at weekends and during the school holidays.

The volunteer roles are open to anyone aged 18 years and above and are designed as an opportunity to get hands-on experience of working with animals for those wishing to build a career in the sector or just looking for something different to do during the holidays.

Successful applicants will be working alongside South Staffordshire College’s Animal keepers, helping to deliver visitor education, working on building projects and many other jobs.
