RUGELEY folk are being urged to have their say on how the town’s indoor market can be made more attractive to shoppers.
Cannock Chase Council has created survey to help the council and traders understand who uses the market, how often they visit, what they use it for, what would encourage people to shop in the market and what improvements are needed.
Diane Todd, leader for town centre regeneration, said “Local markets are a vital part of our town centre economy. We would like to encourage as many people to complete this survey as it will help the Council understand what people want from their local market and how we can make improvements."
Shoppers have until June 23 to complete the questionnaire, available from the reception areas at Rugeley Library, Rugeley Town Council and Rugeley Leisure Centres. Traders at Rugeley Market will also have copies.
The survey is also available on the council’s website at www.cannockchasedc.gov.uk/consultation
