A STAFFORD landmark became the setting for a spectacular light show to celebrate a local radio station’s second birthday.
Passers-by travelling through Stafford town centre on Sunday night were treated to a colourful display when the Broad Eye Windmill was given a light switch on.
LED lighting illuminated the inside and outside of the 18th century building in dramatic manner, while a three colour laser show produced moving text and animations on the front of the building.
The event was staged by Stafford Radio, with support from local businesses, to mark its second anniversary of broadcasting from the windmill at weekends. The displays were captured on camera by local snapper Paul Milgate
