AN amazing seven year old golf talent from the 3 Hammers Golf Academy in Coven has been chosen to appear on the new BBC1 Saturday night show A Question of Sport: Super Saturday.

Jayden Phipps from Wednesbury will appear in the Kids versus Captains part of the show where different young sports stars take on Phil Tuffnell and Matt Dawson in a chipping/putting challenge.

The confident, outgoing youngster is hailed as one of the most promising young players in the country and is no stranger to the limelight having already played against Colin Montgomerie, watched by DJ and golf fanatic Chris Evans at the Golf Live event in Kent. He also competed in the World Junior Under-6 Final in California last year.

Jayden, from Park Hill Primary School, had his talents recognised by England Golf coach Rob Bluck at the 3 Hammers Golf Complex.
