Sheep rustlers steal 121 ewes from farm in Perton

STAFFORDSHIRE police are appealing for information after thieves stole more than 100 sheep from a farmer in Perton.

The sheep were taken between 11am on Tuesday Dec 24 and around 4pm on Thursday December 26 after thieves removed a padlock and chain securing a metal gate on a field on Bridgnorth Roard, Perton.

121 nine-month Texel cross ewes, all marked with a red ink B were stolen.

Anyone with any information is asked to call 101 quoting incident 285 of December 28 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
