ANGLER, Chris Newton was twice in the frame when Izaak Walton Fishery hosted two matches at the weekend.
In the first, Newton (Dolphin Tackle) was runner-up with 28lb 6oz, behind Saturday winner Pete Holmes (Stapeley) 57lb 9oz. Robin Dale (Holts) was third with 26lb 7oz. Andy Cleary (Northwood) won on Sunday (78lb 4oz), with Newton fourth with 20lb 12oz.
