GOOD defensive work led to a low scoring first quarter between Spittal Brook and Bluebelles B, in division two of the Stafford Netball league.
Brook edged ahead before increasing the lead in the second quarter.
Despite a couple of great goals from the edge of the D by GA Carol Cooper (Bluebelles), accurate shooting from Sarah Bastone (GS) and Molly Teece (GA) maintained the Brook advantage.
In the end, Brook’s consistency saw them home 29-13. Star players were Kate Young (Brook) and Laura Broom (Bluebelles B). The Brook are one of the front runners in this section.
