These sessions will be every Sunday up until April with the exception March 3 when there are no nets.

All members new and old are welcome and players of any standard and ability are welcome as Stafford operates four senior teams on a Saturday and two on a Sunday.

David Foster is about to undertake his second season as first team captain, with Stafford competing in Division 2A of the North Staffs and South Cheshire Cricket League.

He is enthusiastic about the new season and said:"In 2013 Stafford's first team will be aiming for promotion and winter nets will provide a great opportunity to pre- pare for the season.

"We are always open to new additions to the squad and are par- ticularly interested in new bowlers.

"Nevertheless, no matter what your ability, we'd love to see you at nets!

"The senior section is also on the look- out for a new coach (level 2+) to work with all teams but primarily the first team. If this may be of interest to please get in touch to discuss further.

"If playing isn't quite your cup of tea, why not pop down to the club one Satur- day afternoon when the sun is shining and support the county town? We would appreciate your support!"

The second and third team captaincy positions also remain unchanged for 2013 with Mark Evans and Ali Martin at the respective helms. There is a new skipper in place in the fourths with seamer Phil Stacey taking charge. For further informa- tion on the club or nets please contact Gary Fulton on 07815 922884.

The junior section of the club is also cur- rently netting at the same indoor location on Monday evenings at 6pm.

This caters for age groups under 9s up to under 17s. Stafford are on the lookout for new junior players between these ages and anyone interested in attending indoor sessions should contact Ali Martin 07701 027926.
