MORE THAN a hundred cyclists took to the streets recently in the Stafford Road Club Challenge Ride.
Even though temperatures were below freezing the riders who braved the weather helped raise around £150 for the club.
Dave Smith, Stafford RC chairman said: “It was the first long event of the year and we were very pleased with the turn-out although numbers were down on last year because of the weather.
“Stafford Rugby Club provided changing facilities and their café was open for riders after the event.”
